Why is it useful to delete cookies, and how can I do it?

You can delete CareWay cookies in just a few simple steps from your browser.

Cookies are temporary files saved by your browser to store certain information related to your session (such as your preferences or login status). Although they are necessary for CareWay to function properly, they can sometimes cause issues.

Why it is sometimes recommended to delete cookies

1. Resolving technical issues

Over time, cookies or cached data can become corrupted or outdated, which may cause:

  • login difficulties (e.g., the login button doesn’t respond);

  • unexpected error messages (such as “Oops!”);

  • abnormal behavior in the interface.

Deleting cookies allows you to start a fresh session and forces the browser to reload the latest version of CareWay.

2. Switching accounts or environments

If you use CareWay with more than one account (for example, a training account and a professional account), or if you switch devices or browsers, old cookies can interfere with the new session. Deleting them ensures a clean and secure reconnection.

3. Data protection and privacy

Deleting cookies can also be a good security practice when using a shared device (e.g., a clinic or institutional computer). This prevents other users from accessing your session or any automatically saved information.
